Kegs Water Party

Just got back over the hill from a great afternoon next to a pool. Craig's pool.  Brought the kids, suncreen, floaties, and diapers. Before we could even get into the house the kids were asking for some of Uncle Craig's Chocolate Chip cookies.  Once we got in there, they were not to be disappointing.

As we walked up the driveway we were greeted by Jonty and his empty cup. "Knew I would run into you if I left the pool" he tells me.  As we walk into Craig's house, Olive greets us at the door full of grace and warmth. The kids give her a HUGE hug. Even Mark! I believe he likes her a ton.

Olive instantly goes into making sure that we are taken care of..Food,Clothes,Drink, The How are you's and lets go to the pool words.  The place is shining from her hosting abilities. It was amazing...Brie,Salads,Fruit, Beer, dips, chips and booze. It was all spread out in such a tasteful manner that it made Martha Stewart look like a scum bag. Lets just say it was nice!

Moe walks in fresh from saving someones life. He grabs a beer, and we chat. He punches the Television and breaks it to show me what a man he is. I grab a knife and stab a random fish in Craig's fish tank and then swallow it whole.  He is not impressed. I spit in his face and he breaks my nose. It goes on like this until Tiffany comes in.  "Hey Aaron", she says.  Hey I say. It goes on like this. Then we go to the pool.

The pool is hosting Craig's sister, parents, Matt, Jonty, Chris, Erin,Shelly, and some others that I don't know.  The kids swim, and swim.  It was a a big end of the summer Party.  A perfect way to send it on it's way. Thanks Craig.

I had a coke today. Not all of it, but still I had one. So I will never drink a coke starting now.

This just in... Attempting to not drink coke ever again.

This is 1988-1989is.  Jason Inay had the launch ramp that Chris stead built for me. The transition on the the thing was ridiculous.We would skate is religiously after school and on the weekends.

Disneyland 2010

Last week we took the kids to the happiest place on earth for 5 days. It was their first time.  Kim and I decided that to make the trip even more special, we would book our hotel reservations at the Disneyland Hotel. A wise choice dats4sure!  I was nervous because some people in the reviews I read had said that it was old and run down.  Those reviews couldn't be further from  the truth. While it wasn't the most modern hotel, it had tons of Disney charm and the service was outstanding. But enough hotel review. It was a fantastic place to stay!

It took us 10 hours to get to the hotel by way of 101.  We unloaded the bags at the curb and I went to park the car so that we wouldn't have to pay the 17 dollars a day for the valet.  As I was searching for a place to park, I got a text from Kim who was supposed be checking in. She was stuck at the entrance unable to go in. Evidently Mark wasn't having it. Once he caught a sight of Goofy he got spooked. He locked up and wouldn't budge! When I arrived at the door after parking, Mark was tracking the giant puppet man with a instinctive survival glance. It was super intense.So I wrapped him up in my arms and we went into the lobby. Elisa was exactly the opposite. She ran over and gave the Goofy a huge hug and posed for pictures. She was STOKED!!  The stage was now set for how the kids would react to the characters.

After we unloaded our bags in our room we headed for the park. We opted to walk through downtown disney. When we got there we headed straight for to the mad hatter and had some Disney ears made.
