I think the way this trip happened, was that the we decided to leave for the Grand Canyon by way of Las Vegas the night before we actually left. I got off work at about 12pm and Jonty's van was loaded and on the road from Santa Cruz by 1. Crazy trip....
I remember after getting to the Grand Canyon and camping one night in the freezing weather that we decided to head to Joshua Tree.
